Why USDC?

USDC is the base currency of Myntkaup accounts. It is a crypto-asset designed to track the value of the US dollar.

Krónur you deposit are converted to USDC automatically. When you sell crypto you receive USDC, which you can keep, use to buy again or withdraw to a bank account.

Deposits and withdrawals are processed every day. At weekends and on public holidays, Arion Bank's rate from the last banking day is used.
